Watercolor
Watercolors are my first love. I’ve always been drawn to their fluidity and softness. How easy it is to mix colors and make it look seamless. The way they move across the page. Plus, water - any body of water, be it sea, lake, river, or pool - is my favorite place to be, so it tracks.
Graphic Design
Graphic design. It’s what I built my career on and has been my bread and butter for the last decade. I love it all, but when pencil and paper meet a screen and a mouse….{chef’s kiss}. Hand drawn graphics are my very favorite.
Acrylics
I fell in love with acrylics when I was a little burnt out on watercolor and looking for something new. Watercolors have always been my baby, and sometimes I feel like I’m cheating on them with my acrylics, but I mean, what’s not to love!? Palette knife or brush, texture or wash, paper, canvas, or panel, the possibilities are ENDLESS!
Pastels
I fell back in love with pastels after randomly finding a box of them tucked away with some old art supplies. They’re less messy than paint and require zero set-up, which is IDEAL when you’re squeezing in a little sketch time during nap time. Plus, the vivid colors are my jam!
Mixed Media
Because sometimes you just need to use a little of everything!
