This book is made available to United Way of Central Oklahoma's Leadership Donors (those who contribute $500 or more to the annual campaign). It contains a listing of the Leadership Donors, as well as information about each of the affinity groups at United Way.
My intention for this publication was to create something that was quintessentially Oklahoman. The first thing I did was to write the introduction you see at the beginning of this book. This helped direct the design. I created a symbol for each affinity group (Tocqueville donors, Leadership donors, Loyal Contributors, Women's Leadership Society, Emerging Leaders, our Leadership volunteers, and the Leadership donors of the United Ways of Logan and Canadian Counties). These symbols represented something special or iconic to our state.
I also used infographics to illustrate various social service-related statistics that United Way has had a hand in helping.
