2013 Campaign Theme Materials

Each of United Way of Central Oklahoma's annual fundraising campaigns has a theme - 2010 was The Wizard of Oz, 2011 was superheroes, 2012 was 'Back to School', etc. The 2013 campaign theme is vintage patriotism (think Rosie the Riveter, Uncle Sam, and lots of red, white and blue). This year's slogan is "We can make a difference." Simple, easy to remember, and a play on Rosie the Riveter's famous line, "We can do it."

The purpose of the theme is to provide companies with an easy way to make their employees excited about donating and give them opportunities to make their campaign fun and enjoyable. To do this, we traditionally carry the theme through our campaign events (Pacesetter Lunch, Pacesetter Games, and Campaign Kickoff) and several materials (ECC Guides, charity guides, invitations, etc.). This year, I also brought it into a poster and some stickers and decided to carry it through to our Early Bird Reception.

Once a campaign theme is decided on, I create a logo to use to represent that theme and we use it throughout the year. This year's logo went through countless modifications, but I am very happy with the result. You'll see that logo on almost every campaign themed item (its the flexing arm with the campaign slogan circling it).

Below are the different items I've completed so far this year, as well as some event signage from Campaign Kickoff.
